Everything the tool actually does
No feature matrix padded with things that do not exist. This is the full surface of WebP Magic — what runs locally, what runs on credits, and where the boundary sits.
Conversion and optimisation
Free, unlimited, and no account required. All of it runs in your browser.
Client-side conversion
Images are decoded, resized and re-encoded by your own browser. Nothing is uploaded, so there is no queue to wait for and no copy left behind on a server.
Quality and lossless modes
Set compression anywhere from 0 to 100, or switch on true lossless when an asset has to stay pixel-exact. The output size updates as you go.
Resize on export
Give a target width and the height follows the original aspect ratio. Anything wider than 1600px gets a suggested size so oversized assets do not slip through.
Batch processing
Drop in a whole folder. Change the global width or quality once and every queued image reprocesses automatically with the new settings.
Broad format support
PNG, JPG, HEIC/HEIF from an iPhone, GIF (first frame) and multi-page PDF documents rendered page by page — all converging on one WebP output.
One-click export
Download files one at a time or take the entire batch as a single ZIP archive, packaged in the browser alongside everything else.
AI editing and generation
The one part of WebP Magic that talks to a server. Edits are sent to the model provider only when you ask for one — never in the background, and never as part of plain conversion.
Edit with a sentence
Describe the change — swap a background, clean up a distraction, restyle a product shot — and the editor returns a new version to keep or discard.
Generate from a prompt
No source image required. Write what you need and get an original image back, ready to convert and export like any other file.
Crop and reframe
Free-form cropping plus fixed ratios for the places images actually land: 1:1, 3:2, 2:3, 16:9 and 9:16.
Credits, not subscriptions
Editing runs on credits you buy once. Nothing recurring, nothing to cancel, and unused credits stay on your account.
Start with the free half
Convert as much as you want without signing up. Add credits later if the AI editor turns out to be useful to you.
