Privacy is the default, not a setting
Conversion never leaves your device, so there is no retention policy to read and no breach that could expose your files. The only request that carries an image is an AI edit you explicitly asked for.

An image converter that never asks for your files
WebP Magic started from a simple objection: uploading a private screenshot to a stranger's server just to make it smaller is a bad trade. Browsers can do the work themselves — so ours does.
What we optimise for
Fast because there is no round trip
Most online converters spend their time uploading and downloading. Doing the work locally removes both, which is why a batch finishes in about the time it takes to read the settings.
Honest about the limits
Animated GIFs currently export their first frame only. We would rather say so here than let you find out after a batch export.
